List the meals you actually cook, and screenshot each one's ingredients and steps.
2.
Mealime's recipes are public pages at mealime.com/recipes. Open each favorite there and copy its link.
3.
Paste those links into the planner you choose. In Grocerplan: Recipes, then Add recipe, then Import from link.
4.
Recipes you added to Mealime yourself have no Mealime page. If one came from another website, use that website's link; copy or screenshot the rest.
5.
Write down your diet, allergies, dislikes and serving size. Mealime deletes all personal data at the shutdown, and its notice names no export.
6.
Screenshot this week's plan and grocery list.
7.
If you paid for Pro: Mealime says you will not be charged again. Check your subscription wherever you paid for it, to be sure.
8.
Cook one real week in your new planner while you can still open Mealime.
Who should choose Meals Hub instead
Mealime's recipes continue in Meals Hub, inside the store apps and websites of Albertsons Companies: Safeway, Albertsons, Vons, Jewel-Osco, ACME Markets, Shaw's, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Pavilions, Star Market, United Supermarkets, Haggen and Carrs. Mealime says Meals Hub is free, including the recipes that were Pro-only, and that you can browse recipes, create meal plans and make shopping lists there even if you can't shop at those stores. If you want to keep cooking Mealime's own recipes, Meals Hub is probably the easier move. Try Grocerplan if you want to choose your store on Instacart, cook for more than six, give each person in the home their own diet and allergens, or plan around a SNAP budget.
Honest limits

A website, not an App Store or Google Play app (it works in your phone's browser).

A small catalog: 137 recipes of our own.
•
Keto, low-carb, paleo, Whole30 and Mediterranean have few recipes so far, so plans for them mix in other dinners, and the Plan screen says so.

Mealime's notice names no export, so recipes move link by link.
•
We cannot check recipes you import for allergens. You confirm them yourself.
•
The Instacart handoff works in the United States only.
•
One login per household, and one week planned at a time.
•
Nutrition figures are estimates.

Is Mealime shutting down?
Yes. Mealime's notice says it will be discontinued as of October 21, 2026.
What happens to my Mealime recipes and data?
Mealime says all personal data will be deleted at the shutdown, and that its recipes continue in Meals Hub inside the Albertsons Companies store apps. Its notice does not mention an export, so save your favorites and preferences yourself before October 21.
Can I move my Mealime recipes to Grocerplan?
Link by link: open each recipe on mealime.com, copy its link, and paste it into Grocerplan under Recipes, Add recipe, Import from link. You can paste up to 10 links at once. Recipes you added to Mealime yourself have no Mealime page; use the original website's link, or copy them by hand.
Is there a Mealime alternative that sends my grocery list to Instacart?
Grocerplan does. Tap Shop on Instacart and Instacart opens with your list; you choose the store and check out in your own Instacart account. Grocerplan never places an order for you.
Is Grocerplan free?
Yes. Grocerplan may earn a commission when you check out on Instacart, which pays for it.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
Not in the app stores. Grocerplan runs in the browser on any phone or computer; there is nothing to download.
Can I plan for more than six people?
Yes. Each meal scales from 1 to 50 servings.
Can each person have their own diet?
Yes. Each household member gets a profile with their own diet, allergens and dislikes.
